ABOUT KONJO CONCEPTS

MEET OWNER/CEO KRYSTAL YOSEPH

As the only child of an East African immigrant and the daughter of a daughter from southwest Oklahoma, I know “a lot a bit” about people, some places, and a fair amount of things.

My world view and appreciation for individuality was bred in the heartland by loving parents—they’ve brought me to where I am today. I graduated from The University of Oklahoma with a degree in Journalism/Public Relations, and I have a minor in Sociology as well. After graduation, I moved to Washington, D.C. for what was to be a one-year relocation. Life in D.C. presented a myriad of dynamic, consecutive career opportunities with organizations ranging from a national trade association to a luxury lifestyle publication and a boutique public relations firm. Each of these roles kept me busy, happy and involved in the fabric of life in the Nation’s Capital for eight years.

I moved back to OKC in late 2014, where I worked for an incredible PR agency that showed me many of the ways to fall in love with this big town. In January 2018, I created Konjo Concepts. I LOVE OKC and I really enjoy taking advantage of the culture we’re growing in this flyover land. You can typically find me on a restaurant patio, out somewhere doing artsy things, walking around my neighborhood, listening to NPR, running to a board meeting, or spending time with my friends, family and obnoxiously adorable rescue pup, Mr. Romeo.

I am an avid connector and supporter of community, culture and progress throughout Oklahoma. But I will travel for work!
